New year, new travel plans, am I right? If you’re reading this, you're probably craving more than just another beach holiday or "staycation" - if so, you’re in just the right place.

I’ve rounded up 5 adventure destinations that’ll have you wondering why you haven’t been there already.

1. Norway – The Adventure Capital of Europe

Picture this: towering cliffs, dramatic fjords and evenings under the Northern Lights. Norway is the ultimate playground for adventure seekers.

Whether you’re hiking the famous Preikestolen or kayaking through Geirangerfjord, Norway doesn’t do boring.

In our opinion, the best way to explore norway is by campervan.

The best part? As long as you leave no trace, you have the freedom to park and stay almost anywhere - completely free.

2. Seychelles – The Wild Side of Paradise

Okay, so Seychelles might sound like the stuff of luxury resorts and honeymooners.

But beyond the white sand beaches, this archipelago has a side that screams adventure.

Think scuba diving with sea turtles, exploring the dense jungle of Mahe Island or beach hopping - the most beautiful coastline we've ever seen - in La Digue.

And if you want luxury? It's got more than its fair share of that too!

3. Madeira – The Hawaii of Europe

Madeira is a true hidden gem of Europe (or it least it used to be), often called "the Hawaii of Europe" for very good reason.

Madeira is a relatively small island but the diversity of the landscapes is nothing short of astonishing.

Think rainforest waterfalls, volcanic sea cliffs and peaks above the clouds, all within an hours drive of each other.

For the ultimate sunrise, head to Pico do Arieiro - it's one of our favourite spots in the world and it is truely a photographers dream.

4. Indonesia – A Land of Many (Many) Islands

While Bali gets much of the attention, Indonesia’s other islands (17,508 of them) are equally deserving of the spotlight.

Komodo Island is home to the legendary Komodo dragons, while Raja Ampat’s coral reefs are a diver’s dream.

Prefer jungle trekking? Sumatra’s dense jungles offer the chance to encounter orangutans in their natural habitat.

It quite litteraly has something for everyone.

5. New Zealand – A Thrill Seekers Paradise

For adrenaline junkies, New Zealand is a dream come true.

In Queenstown alone you’ll find 3 bungy jumps, including one of the highest in the world with a freefall time of 8.5 seconds.

If that’s not enough, try skydiving over the mountains, jet boating through a canyon or heli-hike a glacier.

And for an adventure that’s truly one-of-a-kind - you can even ski on an active volcano at Mount Ruapehu.

If you’re ready to make 2025 a year of adventure, now’s the time to start planning.
